About the Artist

Gautam Das is an artist, educator, graphic designer, and applied art practitioner based in Kolkata. He completed his MVA from the Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta in 2001. He has worked with several advertising agencies as a designer and creative art director, developing a strong visual language across art, design, and communication.
He has participated in several seminars, workshops, art talks, and demonstrations across Bengal. His artworks have been exhibited in multiple group exhibitions and art competitions in India and abroad. He has also received national and international label awards and served as a jury member in various art competitions.
Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor at the Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta, in the Department of Graphic Design / Applied Art.
